WOHAA Junior – A Unique Opportunity for KS3 Students
Building Skills, Inspiring Changemakers
Following the success of The Wings of Hope Achievement Awards (WOHAA) for secondary school students—now in its 20th year—we are excited to introduce WOHAA Junior, designed specifically for KS3 students (Years 7–9). This six-week programme blends social enterprise, leadership, and fundraising, helping students develop key life skills while making a tangible impact on the lives of underprivileged children worldwide.
Why Get Involved?
- Short & Impactful – A structured six-week programme (April–June 2025)
- Skill Development – Students gain confidence, teamwork, communication, finance, and entrepreneurship skills.
- Hands-On Support – In-person introduction and mentoring from the WOHAA team
How It Works
- Week 1 – We visit your school to introduce WOHAA Junior and the 9 fundraising themes
- Weeks 2–5 – Students work in teams to plan and prepare their projects, with an in-person mentoring session from WOHAA
- Week 6 – Fundraising events take place, followed by a reflection on achievements
- Showcase Their Work – Students present their projects through a Scrapbook, PowerPoint, or Video Diary, which is submitted to WOHAA

- Pen Pal Programme – A safe, enriching opportunity for students to exchange letters with peers from our partner school in Chennai, India
- National Recognition – Participating schools receive a trophy and are invited to the Awards Ceremony at London Business School on 5th July 2025
- Special Reward for the Winning School – Six students and two teachers will be invited to Tea at the House of Lords or House of Commons with a Peer
