With WOHAA students will improve their transferable skills for later life, including time management and independence. But it can be a big challenge to run your own events and sometimes it’s hard to know where to start.
That’s where our mentors come in!
Friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable – each WOHAA team is allocated a mentor/a pair of mentors for that team. The mentor will give tips and guidance on everything from your very first steps in WOHAA, to how to make your events bigger and better! They will be on hand to support you if things don’t go to plan, and to motivate you to be resilient.
Mentoring is a crucial part of the WOHAA programme, and we partner with the world-class London Business Schoolso students can receive the best help on business strategy. Our mentors have experience across the professional sector, and come from top universities, as well as having a passion for student empowerment.

And mentoring is not a one way street – our mentors consistently say they are impressed and astounded by the ideas WOHAA students come up with, and feel a huge sense of privilege to have been a part of their journey. The experience has frequently been picked up by employers during interviews for well-known corporations.
