Fundraisers

We are 2 boys who are both 13 years old. We both enjoy sports, such as cricket, tennis, badminton and swimming. We are both primary school friends and go to Queen Elizabeth's Boys School. We try to demonstrate skills of teamwork, innovation and integrity to achieve the best we can. Our main aims are just to try our best and to enjoy things, as new experiences, as we believe you should take the best out of any situation. We hope to win WOHAA, as do all of the other teams, but we will be pleased with ourselves if we exceed our target goals.

Hello, we are team R.I.D.J and we are Year 12 fundraisers that share WOHAAs vision for accessible education for children in Malawi and India. We have a fundraising goal of £500, and on our journey towards this goal, we would like to foster a community spirit as well as bring more awareness to our cause. We hope that you will share this vision with us and that you’ll support us in any way you can.

We are I’m Possible, a team of Year 10 students from Queen Elizabeth’s School, led by an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion ambassador. Mental health struggles affect 1 in 7 young people, and 2 in 3 face discrimination when seeking support, often leaving them to suffer in silence. Even after receiving help, 1 in 5 feel excluded because their challenges aren’t understood.This issue has been ignored for decades, but we are determined to raise awareness and take action. Our mission is to promote self-care, personal growth, and mental well-being, empowering individuals to overcome their challenges one step at a time.

We are Team YNWA, led by Yuvraj and Rishi. We are driven by our passion for sports and making a difference. Through charity runs and tournaments , we are raising funds for meaningful international projects while fostering teamwork and community spirit.

We are Sophie and Issy, and at Team A Better Tomorrow we believe in the power of education. Our aim is to give children across the world the opportunities they need to thrive – together, we can empower them to achieve bright futures. Solace realises that our elderly community deserves good memories regardless of age, money, background and connections. We, a team of four, will be volunteering and spending time with them in order to learn more about the individual and grant them a bucket list wish with the support of companies and people who understand that … dreams have no age limit

We both come from deprived boroughs, Waltham Forest which has a higher child poverty than the national average and Newham which is the third most deprived local authority in London. What motivates us is knowing that had we been born in India or Malawi, with our working-class parents, we would not be able to have access to high-quality education. We want to see the changes in the quality of life and education of children in Malawi and India that we wish could be better funded in our own boroughs.

We are Team Nova, and we want to benefit the local community while also supporting vulnerable children in Malawi and Chennai through donations that we have raised. We will impact the world, and change lives.
