Year 9 students from Applemore College who are committed to making a difference to the those without an education in India and Africa.

We’re Team Sister Strength, overall winners of WOHAA 2024. We went to Chennai with the Wings of Hope where we saw all the wonderful work it has done for the school and the slum tuition centre. After meeting the beneficiaries, we want to dedicate our new fundraising efforts to the slum tuition centre, which gives young people a boost towards accessing further education and success. We are team Clear Skies: four friends dedicated to supporting children’s access to good education, and bringing some happiness to our community. We aim to develop organisation skills and get more involved in the world around us, while reducing inequality. Please consider donating, if willing and able!

We, Econ team, are elated and appreciative to join WOHAA to be able to help the children in India and Malawi that hope and dream just like us.

We are Team UNO and we are set to improve the lives of many children all around the world. We chose to embark on our WOHAA journey as we believe every child deserves the opportunities we have as students in the UK. We were devastated when we found out about some children who couldn’t get a proper education. We aspire to raise £3,000 as this will make a huge contribution to the children of India and Malawi.

Wings of Hope is a great charity dedicated to improving the lives of children in Sierra Leone and India.

Kingsley Academy

Hello, we are team Scollier ! Our team is made up of Mia and Emily both in year 10. We both love to play sports, such as badminton and netball. We also enjoy rasing money for charities, and helping people who are not as fortunate as us creating a sense of friendliness and kindness within our community.
