Fundraisers

Hello, we are The Change Makers, and we are a nonprofit charity group that works as a member of WOHAA to raise funds for the charity Wings Of Hope, which aids impoverished children in India and Malawi who cannot afford an education. As a result, we, The Change Makers, a group of six, are here to empower them as WOHAA members who are concerned about and aware of the importance of education, and that every child needs education to have a better future and to be the best version of themselves. We are a team revolution representing Copthall school whilst working with The Wings of hope achievement awards to ensure that unprivileged children specifically from India and Malawi have a suitable environment for education. The Wings of hope achievement awards is a charity raising money for children's education in countries like Malawi and India. We aspire to help us fundraise for children with a poor learning environment to ensure they have the assistance needed to perform pre-eminently. We felt greatly passionate about helping children from Malawi and India to ensure they get a free and well-deserved education. The main reason why we are so intent to help facilitate this cause is because we value and acknowledge how lucky we are to have a free education in the Uk, given that many parts of the world unfortunately still disregard this human right. Therefore, by raising money for children in India and Malawi to gain access to a free education we hope that we spark change in these young people's lives which we hope will eventually develop into a wider global change. This project is especially close to our hearts as we personally have seen the repercussions to the lack of an education.

We think that it is unfair that there are people in the world that don’t have the same quality of education we do.
