Where your donations will go:
Illiteracy is cited as a key reason for poverty. Over 50% of Indian children drop out of school before the age of 14, and Malawi’s illiteracy rate is 42%. A child’s education for a whole year costs only £150! That’s only £2.50 per week to transform a child’s life, by propelling them out of poverty.
Making your money go further:
We are committed to ensuring that as much of your donation as possible goes directly to our projects. We are kindly provided with donated office space and IT support from one of our sponsors, Supreme Creations. This means we have very low overhead costs so more money can go directly towards our work supporting vulnerable children in India and Malawi.
Don’t forget that you can make your own donation go further before it even reaches us in 3 simple ways:
1. Gift Aid It! If you are a UK taxpayer, you can claim back 25p per every £1 you donate.
2. Spread it! Can you ask your friends, colleagues or family to do the same? Simply by telling people about our work you are helping us to grow.
3. Match it! Talk to your boss and tell them what you are doing. Lots of wonderful companies offer ‘matched funding’, which means they will match whatever their employees raise.
