Date announced for WOHAA Semi-finals at the House of Lords (22/03/2012) and the WOHAA Award Ceremony at Wembley Stadium (19/04/2012)

The Wings of Hope team are currently sifting through the masses of ‘snapshot projects’ that have been sent to us by WOHAA 2011-2012 participants. The Semi-finalists will be announced by the end of this Friday the 16th of March. We have received an unprecedented amount of projects this year and the standard is unbelievably high, we would like to thank everyone who participated and put so much effort into supporting us.

The Semi-finals will take place in the prestigious River Room at the House of Lords in Central London on Thursday the 22nd of March. Semi-finalists will meet and present their projects to a distinguished panel of judges including Sir David Jason.

Students participating in WOHAA 2011-2012 have also been invited to the annual Wings of Hope Achievement Award Ceremony held at Wembley Stadium on Thursday the 19th of April. This is an opportunity for every WOHAA participant to celebrate their achievements by recognising and rewarding every student for their participation in WOHAA. The overall winners of the competition will also be announced and will receive a once in a lifetime all expenses paid trip to India during the Summer holidays.
